Does the metronome work offline?
After the page loads once, many browsers keep it running without a connection for practice sessions — refresh if assets fail to load.
Does the microphone tuner need permission?
Yes. Your browser prompts for mic access so we can analyze pitch. Reference-tone mode works without a microphone.
How accurate is key-from-chords?
It ranks major keys by how many chord roots fit diatonic to each key. Ambiguous short progressions may tie several keys — use your ear or add more chords.
Where do Roman numerals come from?
They describe scale degrees in the selected major key. Pair this hub with Chord construction and Nashville numbers if symbols are new.
Does the drum machine use samples or need a download?
No. Every groove is synthesized in your browser and loops gaplessly, so the drum machine loads instantly, uses no audio files, and works offline once the page has loaded.
