About this poster
This wall chart collects the chords every guitarist learns first: the open major shapes (C, A, G, E, D), the common open minors (Em, Am, Dm), and the open dominant sevenths (E7, A7, D7, G7, C7, B7). Each diagram reads low string on the left to high string on the right, with a filled dot for each fretted note, the number inside showing a suggested finger, an O for an open string and an X for a string you mute.
Print it and pin it up where you practice for an at-a-glance reference while you learn to switch cleanly between shapes. Want to write in your own voicings instead? Use the blank chord diagram sheet.
